Plot Summary

Sassy postgrad Elle Woods (Witherspoon) is all about animal rights. In fact, she puts her nuptial plans on hold to head to Washington D.C. to get an anti-animal testing bill passed. Her building's doorman (Newhart) quickly shows her the ways and workings of our nation's capital.

Reese Witherspoon plays the same role in most of her movies.

Elle goes to Washington to change the law on beauty product testing.

This has to be a spoof sequel to "Election"? Highly unrealistic scenes. Witherspoon is as likable as ever. Her character is a breath of fresh air amid the dull politicians. But much of the comedy falls flat. The gay dogs scene was the funniest. The second half of the movie got too ridiculous.

Enjoyable movie but not as good as the original original!
