| In the dark silence of the sea during World War II, the submarine U.S.S. Tiger Shark prowls on what should be a routine rescue mission. But for the shell-shocked crew, trapped together in the sub's narrow corridors and constricted spaces, this is about to become a journey into the sensory delusions, mental deceptions and runaway fear that lurk just below the surface of the ocean and deep inside the human psyche. |

More drama then horror, still chilling
This is a fine tale about a haunted submarine. It tends to drag a little,
but never for lack of performances or scenery. A major star of this film is
the Tiger Shark itself, which is fleshed out in superb detail. I can only
imagine that it was a real submarine that provided the sets for this movie.
A satisfying movie experience, might be suitable for some teens. There is a
lot of strong language.
