Dustin Hoffman, one of the greatest actors of all time! This movie is very good!! There are funny parts and dramatic parts. The thing that makes Dustin Hoffman a good actor is that he becomes the character he plays. He disappears into it. Unlike other actors, like Tom Hanks, whenever he plays a character he is always Tom Hanks. But with Dustin Hoffman, he's always the character he plays. Like matching Rain Man with Hook is very hard. It's hard to believe that Raymond becomes Captain Hook. It's too hard to picture. The thing about this movie is that Raymond is a character with a good memory and once he launches into a topic, like where he buys boxer shorts, his favorite radio station (97X), fear of flying, or something else, he never stops which is pretty funny (when Raymond keeps repeating 97X and he and Tom Cruise argue about K-Mart). The thing is you always laugh with Raymond and never at him. So Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise are good together and Valeria Golino is very pretty! See this movie if you haven't already.
